3.6 magnitude earthquake strikes Lesvos

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake occurred on the eastern Aegean island of Lesvos on Tuesday, according to a revised assessment by the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.

The epicenter of the quake at 12.52 p.m. was located 8 kilometers west-northwest of Mantamados in Lesvos. The focal depth of the quake was estimated at 17.7 kilometers.
