Earthquake rattles Evia

Evia was hit by an earthquake of 3.5 magnitude on Thursday afternoon, after being struck by Storm Elias.

According to the Geodynamic Institute, the focal depth was estimated at 17 kilometers and the epicenter at 3 kilometers north-northeast of the town Mantoudi. The earthquake occurred at 2.36 p.m.

In the same area, several smaller earthquakes of less than 2.0 magnitude have been recorded in the last few hours.
