Pilot found dead after helicopter crashes into the sea
The pilot of a helicopter that crashed off the northern coast of Evia on Thursday has been found dead.
Coastguard divers retrieved the body from a depth of 52 meters on Friday.
It is suspected that adverse weather conditions might have played a role in the helicopter’s crash.
Initial reports suggested the presence of a passenger on board during the crash. However, the flight plan only listed the pilot.
