Armed robber targets bank in northern Athens

A man wearing a mask help up a bank branch in the Athenian suburb of Holargos on Wednesday morning, police said. 

The suspect entered the bank located on 25th March Street shortly after 9.30 a.m. He pulled out a gun, forced employees to hand over an unknown amount of cash, and fled. 

Police said it is searching for the suspect.
