Athens Metro Line 2 services to be disrupted as extension works start
The Aghios Dimitrios terminus station on the red line (Line 2) of the Athens metro will be operating intermittently in the next few days as engineering works get under way as part of a planned extension to a new station in Elliniko, southern Athens.
The station will be out of service between 5.30 and 7.30 a.m. on Thursday, from 10 p.m. until the end of the service on Saturday and all day on Sunday.
On those days, trains will terminate at Dafni and a bus service will run to Aghios Dimitrios station.
