Stabbing suspects say third man played main role

Two Afghans charged with the murder of a 44-year-old man in a knifing near central Athens last week admit to their involvement in the attack but claim a third man, a Pakistani, played the leading part in the assault, police said on Friday.

Officers said a sweater found at the house where the two suspects were arrested resembles a garment worn by one of the attackers in CCTV footage of the stabbing near central Athens.
