Six held for migrant attack on Crete
Police in the Cretan prefecture of Lasithi on Sunday detained five young men including a minor in connection with the violent beating of a Mauritian immigrant.
The five suspects are said to have beaten and kicked the migrant in the early hours of yesterday morning for reasons that remained unclear.
Police said they also detained the 55-year-old father of the youngest suspect, who is aged 16.
