Courts closed Thursday, Friday
Courts will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to a nationwide strike by lawyers protesting the liberalization of their profession and other government reforms.
Since last month, judges have been walking off the job at noon, three hours before the end of their usual working day. They have been protesting the government?s austerity measures, cuts to their wages and what they see as interference by Greece?s international creditors in the country?s judicial system.
