Small arms cache found in Crete

Crete police on Monday discovered a small arms cache at a house in the island’s western region of Chania.

Police on Monday arrested a 62-year-old man and his two sons, aged 32 and 30, after finding one kalashnikov, seven hunting rifles, and more than 400 bullets inside the house.

Police searched the home after a 59-year-old woman was injured by a stray bullet on Sunday evening, while she was working at a nearby olive press.

The woman was not seriously injured, reports on Monday said.
