Lawyer on trial

A council of misdemeanour court judges in Athens has ruled that lawyer Nikolas Gorgias should stand trial for allegedly swindling his former client, businessman Constantinos Angelopoulos, out of 27.3 million euros.

The judges found there was evidence to suggest Gorgias extracted money for work he never carried out.
