State TV to stop transmissions from Hymettus on Friday
The analog broadcast of state TV channels ET1, NET and ET3 from Mount Hymettus will cease on Friday as part of the switchover to the digital signal.
Private TV channels stopped broadcasting analog signals from Hymettus last month.
Only homes which receive transmissions from Mount Parnitha will continue to receive an analog signal.
Everyone else will have to buy an Mpeg4 digital decoder or a television that has one built in.
