Heavy rain causes 10m section of highway to collapse in central Greece

A 10-meter section of the national highway connecting Tripoli in central Greece to Ancient Olympia at the junction of Toubitsi in Gortynia collapsed on Friday following several days of heavy rain.

The road was closed as a team of regional maintenance officials was dispatched to repair the damage.
