ELTA offers discount on food parcels to students away from home
The Greek postal service, ELTA, launched a scheme on Thursday which allows parents to send food parcels or other packages to children that are studying away from home in Greece at a 30 percent discount.
ELTA said the lower rates were available to people sending parcels to students and to the students themselves, if they wanted to send something home.
Under the scheme, sending a 2-kilo package costs 2.87 euros. A 5-kilo parcel costs 4.27 euros and a 10-kilo package 6.51 euros.
