Modern Olympic revival at Panathenaic Stadium
The Hellenic Olympic Academy, an initiative launched by the Hellenic Olympic Committee, on Friday organized an event reviving the first Modern Olympics of 1896, at the Panathenaic Stadium in central Athens.
The group enacted scenes from the original Games in an event aimed at raising funds for its activities, which include educational programs at schools on the history of the Olympic Games and on sportsmanship.
