Three arrests in Patra over debts to state

Three suspects have been arrested in Patra, in the western Peloponnese, for debts to the state, police said over the weekend.

Authorities arrested a 55-year-old marble dealer for owing 2.1 million euros in unpaid taxes.

A 63-year-old fuel trader and a 65-year-old businessman in the tourism sector were also arrested for owing 543,316 and 203,715 euros respectively.

All the suspects were taken to the Patra prosecutor.
