Second suspect remanded over bombing of prosecutor’s house
A second suspect was remanded in custody on Wednesday in connection with the explosion of a makeshift bomb outside the apartment building where a prosecutor lives in Larissa, central Greece, on Saturday, which caused damage to cars and surrounding buildings.
The 44-year-old suspect, arrested in Athens on Sunday, was ordered to remain in custody.
He is the second suspect to be remanded, after the unnamed 39-year-old who responded to charges on Tuesday, to be remanded over the attack targeting the prosecutor, who was involved in the case against crime syndicate boss Panayiotis Vlastos.
