Two Romanians arrested with drugs at Athens airport

Two Romanian nationals were being questioned by police Wednesday following their arrest at Athens International Airport with 12 kilograms of methamphetamine, also known as shisha, a drug that has become increasingly popular with substance users in Greece during the crisis as a cheap alternative to heroin.

The suspects, both aged 36, collected the drugs in Kenya before flying via Doha to Athens, according to police.
