Fyssas killer remanded over charges of belonging to criminal group
Giorgos Roupakias, the 45-year-old Golden Dawn member who has confessed to stabbing rapper Pavlos Fyssas to death last month, was remanded in pretrial custody on Tuesday by a magistrate investigating his alleged participation in a criminal organization.
Roupakias is already in pretrial custody over the murder of Fyssas in a suburb of Piraeus on September 17.
He also faces separate charges of belonging to a criminal organization as part of an ongoing investigation into Golden Dawn that has been linked to killing and is aimed at determining whether the party has engaged in organized crime.
