Council of State issues its first electronic ruling
The Council of State, Greece’s highest administrative court, issued its first ruling by electronic means on Wednesday.
Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis witnessed the e-verdict being issued, complete with the judge’s digital signature.
The system has been developed to cut down on paperwork.
Mitsotakis said that 3 million sheets of paper are transferred each year between the Council of State and his ministry alone.
