Hermetic society accuses Greek Golden Dawn party of name theft

A US-based hermetic society devoted to spiritual, philosophical and magical development calling itself the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn has allegedly accused the Greek far-right party of stealing its name.

An article published on Monday in Belgian newspaper La Libre Belgique claims that the organization, which was founded in 1977, accused the Greek party of hijacking the Golden Dawn brand and of flooding Google’s image service with extremist signs like Nazi salutes.

But the organization is not exactly alien to far-right ideas, the report said.
