Appeals court in Larissa upholds 8-year sentence for pedophile
An appeals court in Larissa, central Greece, on Thursday upheld an eight-year prison sentence passed down to a man found guilty of seducing a minor in September 2011.
The man, who was not identified, is alleged to have forced the 13-year-old boy to come to his home and to have tried to rape him before the boy managed to escape.
The perpetrator had covered the boy’s mouth and was about to assault him when he was distracted by a telephone call.
