Brazilian arrested with 5 kilos of cocaine at Athens airport
A 40-year-old Brazilian national arrested at Athens International Airport on Monday after more than 5 kilograms of cocaine was found hidden in his luggage is believed to be part of a large network dealing narcotics from Latin America to Europe.
The suspect had been traveling from Sao Paolo to Dubai via Athens, where customs officers found 250 cylindrical packages wrapped up in socks and hidden in 10 metallic chocolate boxes, containing 5,227 grams of cocaine.
