Supreme Court receives 2011 Special Olympics audit
Interim Education Minister Froso Kiaou on Thursday submitted a report to the Supreme Court with the findings of an audit conducted of the finances of Special Olympics – Athens 2011 SA, the company managing the Games in the Greek capital in the summer of 2011.
The report was originally drafted by the General Secretariat for Sports, which comes under the Education Ministry’s jurisdiction, and, according to reports, contains evidence to back the launch of a judicial inquiry into the company’s management of public finances.
