Police stations to issue IDs over election weekend
Police stations around Greece will be extending the opening hours of the departments tasked with issuing new identification cards to assist citizens who want to vote in the elections on September 20.
On Saturday, September 19, the identification offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the day of the vote, Sunday, they will operate from when the polls open at 7 a.m. to their close at 7 p.m.
Identity cards will be issued or replaced on the spot.
