Free supply of flu medication to patients with prescriptions, ministry says
The Health Ministry has sent a circular to regional health authorities and pharmacies ordering the free supply of flu medication to patients with a proper prescription.
Private pharmacies will distribute the drugs oseltamivir, marketed under the trade name Tamiflu, and zanamivir, for oral inhalation, until June 30.
Around 30 people have died of flu this year, raising concerns that Greece may be in for a bad year of infections.
