Change at helm of Greek police force
Constantinos Tsouvalas was named the new chief of the Hellenic Police on Tuesday.
He replaces Dimitris Tsaknakis, whose term had come to an end.
The decision was taken during Tuesday’s meeting of the Government Council for Foreign Affairs and Defense (KYSEA).
Officials also decided to appoint Yiannis Karatzias as the new head of the coast guard, replacing Vassilis Papageorgiou.
