Ministry announces holiday hours for Greek sites and museums
The Greek Orthodox Easter holidays and the coinciding of Labor Day with Easter Sunday will mean changes to museum and archaeological site opening hours, the Culture Ministry announced Monday.
Museums and sites across Greece will operate from noon to 5 p.m. on Good Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Holy Saturday. They will be closed on Easter Sunday but operating regularly on Monday, May 2, before staying closed again all day on Tuesday, May 3, due to the transference of Labor Day.
