A believer kisses the hand of Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomaios, the spiritual leader of the world’s Orthodox Christians, before a ceremony at the Saint-Jean Cathedral in Lyon, eastern France, on Saturday. Vartholomaios was visiting Lyon to attend the 13th Conference of European Churches for talks on interfaith dialogue and other issues.
