Necessary step
The operation of the first supervised injection site for intravenous drug users in Greece is a necessary step, primarily for the safety of the addicts themselves.
Instead of trying to hide the problem in dark and dangerous corners of the city, the government is testing the model that has already proven to have worked elsewhere in Europe.
It must insist on continuing in this direction, without any taboos.
