New types of security

The perils threatening national security are no longer just the visible ones; we also have to contend with the digital ones. 

The country needs to organize its defenses against all of the new threats and secure the ability of its systems to function properly in an environment where the threats may come from non-state elements. 

We need a plan and constant vigilance to ensure that the cybersecurity “umbrella” works as it should. This is just the start.
