A city without buses

The state of public transport in the Greek capital is disheartening, but without reliable public transport, traffic cannot be dealt with. Nor can the problem of pollution in the city be drastically reduced. 

The abandonment of the buses shows that there is a deficit in the standard of living that is taken for granted in every European metropolis. It is an area in which the state must invest without delay.
