The wrong antidote
Greece’s leftist-led government will have to face up to its lies and incompetence this fall. Voters are giving up their last remaining illusions. The new wave of taxes will wreck what is left of the country’s middle class and, combined with higher social security contributions, it will further undermine its production base.
Meanwhile, there is not a single sector out there where the SYRIZA-Independent Greeks coalitions has managed to display any sign of executive capacity.
People have had firsthand experience of the government’s failures on a daily basis. Too bad ruling officials are trying to fix things with a shocking display of establishment mentality and a thinly disguised attempt to manipulate the media.
