An education system that encourages corruption?

In recent news articles about the education system in Greece, the word «corruption» is missing! I used to sit in the USA and listen to my Greek wife talking about «tutors.» This was in the 40s and 50s when parents had to employ a teacher if they wanted their child to get a «good grade.» And nothing has changed since then. Now that more parents want their children in university, teachers have even more power for their employment as tutors. LES GROVE, Glyfada.
