AWOG holds fundraising gala
The American Women?s Organization of Greece (AWOG) is organizing a fundraising gala on June 3 in aid of Cerebral Palsy Greece.
The event will include a lavish buffet, wine, beer and soft drinks, a silent auction and a DJ to liven things up. The cost of the donation is 60 euros and the event will be hosted by Balux Prive in Glyfada (58 Poseidonos).

Poetry reading
The Athens Center (48 Archimidous, Mets) presents A.E. Stallings in a reading from her collection of poems ?Hapax,? as well as speaking on the issue ?Can haiku keep pace with 21st century life?? on Sunday, May 22, at 7 p.m.
Organized in cooperation with the University of Maine, the event is free of charge and will be followed by wine and conversation.
