Basketball legend honored at friendly game

The legend of Greek basketball, Nikos Galis, received a standing ovation from thousands of fans in the Athens Olympics Stadium complex (OAKA) in northern Athens. 

Before the start of the friendly match between Greece and Slovenia, Nikos Galis’ jersey with the number 4 was raised up high above the court. 

Clearly moved, Galis was awarded for his great contribution to Greek sport.
