Euroleague home games for Greeks

Olympiakos and Panathinaikos return to European action after their A1 victories on Saturday which have kept them in joint top position on the basketball table. Tonight the Reds will be hosting Belgian team Charleroi, one of the weaker teams in the pool, at 9 p.m. at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Faliro. With two wins in three Euroleague games and coming off a hard-fought 77-70 away win at Panionios for the league, Olympiakos should stroll to victory tonight. «Charleroi has nothing to lose, and that makes it more dangerous,» stated Olympiakos forward Loukas Mavrokefalidis yesterday. Tomorrow Panathinaikos is hosting Turkey’s Efes Pilsen at the Olympic Indoor Arena in Maroussi, aiming to bounce back from its overtime loss at Olimpija Ljubljana. The Greens are likely to miss US star Drew Nicholas. The match tipoff is at 9.45 p.m. and will be broadcast live on NET.
