Samhain Fire Festival | Athens | November 4
The Samhain Athens Fire Festival returns this year to the Lipasmata Multifunctional Park in Drapetsona, Piraeus. Organised by Inis, the group that emerged from the successful Athens Irish Festival, and the Greek-Irish Society, it invites young and old to celebrate the Celtic festival of Samhain or Halloween around a bonfire, with plenty of food and drinks, live music and many more activities, games and surprises. A kids’ programme of games and run will run from 5.30-7.30 p.m., with the main programme kicking off at 7.30 p.m. More information from fb.com/samhainathensfirefestival.
