Current account deficit grows to 2 bln euros

Greece’s current account deficit widened in April compared to the same month in 2020, with the gap reaching 2.079 billion euros from €1.146 billion in the same month a year earlier, the Bank of Greece said on Friday.

Tourism revenues rose to €45 million in April from €14 million in the same month in 2020.
