Additional support for primary sector
The government will supply an extra 100 million euros from European Union funds to support the primary sector, government spokesperson Giannis Oikonomou said in a Twitter post on Monday.
“Additional €100 million from EU funds will be provided to support rural people, stockbreeders and farmers, while a number of measures are already being implemented for the same purpose. With a plan, we stand on the side of the people in the primary sector,” Oikonomou said.
