Kikilias touts extended season in Halkidiki
Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias on Thursday expressed his satisfaction over the course of tourism in Halkidiki, Central Macedonia, noting that the extension of the tourism season to the months of autumn will significantly boost the local economy.
Kikilias paid a one-day visit to the Halkidiki Peninsula to examine all the data concerning the summer and the benefits for the primary sector, traders, hotels and short-term leases.
