Sakellaropoulou in fire-hit village to mark new school year
Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou attends the customary blessing ceremony marking the start of the new academic year at a primary school in the village of Agia Anna on the island of Evia which was ravaged by a massive wildfire this August. “It’s certainly hard to rebuild one’s life amid the ashes, but the most important things are people’s life and health. When these are safe, everything else is possible.”
