Watch thief arrested at Makedonia Airport

A 48-year-old Romanian national was arrested at Makedonia Airport in Thessaloniki on Saturday for his participation in a December 2020 heist in Switzerland of four luxury watches, worth more than 1 million Swiss francs (over 904,000 euros).

He was nabbed on a European arrest warrant issued by Interpol.
