Three members of a work crew laying underground power lines for the Public Power Corporation (PPC) were lethally electrocuted Thursday on the island of Evia.

A fourth man was also injured and was rushed to the nearest health center in critical condition.

An operation by the Hellenic Fire Service, involving 12 firefighters and five fire vehicles, was also launched to extract the body of one of the men that had been pinned under a power pylon.
