Man arrested on Thursday morning for beating his wife

A man was arrested in the city of Patras on Thursday morning after his wife filed a lawsuit accusing him of beating her.
The 40-year-old is expected to face the prosecutor later in the day.
The woman allegedly testified that her husband beat her up while at home where they live with their child in the district Agia. She managed to escape and called the police.
