Body retrieved from car that plunged into Cephalonia harbor
Authorities have retrieved the body of a woman from a car that plunged into the water at the Cephalonia harbor of Poros on Monday night. Police are investigating the causes of the tragedy.
The operation was conducted by members of the Hellenic Coast Guard with the assistance of a civilian diver. The remains are expected to arrive at the Patras coroner to conduct an autopsy in an effort to shed light on the event.
