Case of leprosy in Patra reported

A 65-year-old woman is being treated for leprosy at a hospital in Patra, a local news site reported on Tuesday.
The woman has been placed in isolation at the hospital’s dermatology clinic.
The Peleponnisos newspaper said that tests from the woman were sent to an Athens hospital some days ago to confirm the diagnosis, leading to some confusion that there was another case of the disease in the capital.
