Man who tried to storm broadcaster ERT arrested
Police have arrested a man who attempted to smash his way with a bat into the headquarters of public broadcaster ERT in Athens on Friday.
Initial reports say the man crashed through a barrier with his car to gain entry to the complex, which is located in the northern suburb of Aghia Paraskevi.
Police rushed to the scene and arrested the man.
The broadcaster later said that the man was an external collaborator.
