55-year-old arrested over attempt to kidnap infant
The Hellenic Police arrested a 55-year-old woman after she allegedly attempted to kidnap a 2-year-old infant from its aunt’s car in central Athens.
The aunt, who was driving, became aware of the attempt and began shouting for help. The infant’s family later gave a description of the suspect to the police.
According to information, the suspect has been treated in a mental health institution in the past.
