Police officer fined for kicking cat in Tripoli

A police officer has been fined 5,000 euros for violation of animal welfare legislation after kicking a cat in Tripoli in the central Peloponnese.
The incident took place on Thursday while the officer was off duty.
A sworn administrative inquiry has also been ordered on the incident.
