Jailed MEP Kaili set to appear before pretrial council on Thursday

Eva Kaili, the MEP and former European Parliament Vice-President that has been detained over her alleged involvement in the Qatargate scandal, is set to appear before a pretrial council on Thursday morning.

This will be her third hearing with the council, which will deliberate on whether she will remain in custody or will be conditionally released.
